  1. Liability Policies: Cleaning

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN and its crews agree to provide services stated in the checklist in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against MAIDS ON THE RUN or its team members, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of MAIDS ON THE RUN.

    • Every effort is made to be as careful as possible with your items, however, accidents do happen. Notification must be made within 24 hours of breakage/loss of any personal items. Items which are antique, irreplaceable, hard to find etc. will not be cleaned unless a liability waiver is signed. Our crews are instructed to take a picture of any such item so that we can work on replacement or repair.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN does not use ladders or move items more than 15 pounds to protect us and our team members from injury and damage. If you would like cleaning behind heavy objects, please move prior to cleaning. We do not move furniture. We are not responsible for damage caused to wood floors when moving items you requested the cleaners to move. If we are asked to move or clean something out of normal cleaning and it breaks or is damaged we are not resdponsible for repair or replacement to this item.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN does not use bleach with exception of the bathroom. We can use your products if needed but are not responsible for poor cleaning or damage to items cleaned.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN is not responsible for damage incurred by the improper installation of any object or moving of large or heavy items such as pictures, fans, under the counter appliances, furnishings etc. All surfaces are assumed sealed and padded. If you know of any surface not sealed or padded, you must notify us so that we may clean it properly. We do not move any kitchen appliance, stereo, television or computer devices. Maids on the Run is not responsible for normal wear and tear on washers, dryers and kitchen appliances when cleaning or using them. Example if the washer is started and overflows that is not our responsibility. OUr teams are trained on how to start all kitchen and laundry equipment. Another example is if while moving the items from the washer to the dryer the seal tears that is normal wear and tear of the washer not any gross negligence of the team members.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN is not hired to care for pets. If you have a special request such as: walking, feeding or putting outside and something happens to your pet, Maids on the run is not responsible or liable. Our policy is not to let out any animals with out prior instruction. Leave the animals where they are when we arrive is the best policy

  2. Business Policies

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN staff does not clean animal cages or in or around litter boxes, animal droppings or urine stains from animals. If you have a pet that is destructive we will not spend time cleaning their mess, such as plants, papers etc?

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN prefers that alarms are kept off for the day of cleaning. If it must be on and the alarm is triggered, MAIDS ON THE RUN is not responsible for any fees associated with alarm and will lock the door and attempt to contact you. You will be charged a $30 fee for travel and time if we are unable to clean.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN agrees to keep keys and other client information secure and confidential.

    • Cleaning rates are subject to change as the condition of your home changes or you change the frequency of your cleanings. Additional services need to be requested in advance so we can schedule the additional time and supplies needed.

    • A checklist will be left with client to show exactly what we did in each room to avoid confusion.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN does not require a contract and services can be cancelled by either party at anytime.

  3. Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations must be received 2 (TWO) days prior to scheduled service or a $30.00 fee will apply.

      • If the cleaning day is rescheduled for the same week then there will be no charge.

      • If we can not access your home because no key was left, you forgot we were coming, decide you do not need us that day or an associate feels their personal safety is at risk due to an aggressive pet or actions by any individuals on the premise we will charge a $30.00 lock out fee to the credit card on file.

      This means a $30.00 fee will be required before your next cleaning.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, change of home conditions, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

    • Weather or Natural disaster conditions do not apply to lock out or last minute cancellations.

  4. Business Hours/Holidays/Weather:

    • Business hours fall between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and services are usually completed during this time.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN does not accept time specific calls as we cannot guarantee specific times accurately. Each home is cleaned in a matter of need not time.

    • MAIDS ON THE RUN does not do holiday visits. If your scheduled day falls on a holiday, MAIDS ON THE RUN will call to reschedule.

  5. Bad Check Policy:

    Most franchise partners do not accept checks however in the event we do and your check is returned a $30 fee is assessed on all returned checks. All fees are due promptly and are paid in cash.

  6. Payment Arrangement:

    Payment is expected before services are rendered. Our policy is that if no payment is received at cleaning we will not clean your home. We require credit cards on file for all services or you may choose to pay via Paypal. We do not accept checks for any services. All credit cards are charged the evening prior to service to be certain there are no issues with the payment. If you have a concern or change in payment needed please contact our office at 904-551-0772. 

  7. Credit card:

    Payments are processed the day before services. We do require a 48 hour cancellation to avoid a late fee. If services are changed to another day in the same week due to illness there is no fee applied. 

  8. Guarantee Policy:

    MAIDS ON THE RUN wants you to be completely satisfied. If, within 24 hours, you are not satisfied, MAIDS ON THE RUN will come back to your home and re-clean said items at no additional charge. We do not offer refunds on any home or service but will do our best to correct all issues or concerns.
